Pegi Smith – Pegi Smith Art – prints donated

Welcome to the Dream World of Pegi Smith
Painter ~ Musician ~ Dreamer
Pegi Smith (Peggy Smith) paints in acrylics on canvas from her home studio in the mountains near Ashland, Oregon. It’s not often that one finds an artist who paints from her dreams, yet Pegi’s visionary style distinguishes her paintings from all others, immersing the viewer in her personal—and very compelling— dream world. From these dreams, Pegi paints abstracts from equine art to nudes to nature, using rich colors to evoke emotion and to uplift the viewer.
Thank you for visiting Pegi Smith’s artist website!Pegi is a self-taught artist, therefore she uses her paints in an innovative manner exclusive to herself. Her use of color, which changes with each collection, makes her work perfect for nearly any interior decor scheme.
Pegi’s thoughtful approach to her art and unique nuance with her brush have gained her a devoted following, with collectors vying for new paintings as they are unveiled. Pegi’s paintings are in private collections in Switzerland, Australia and throughout the US, and were featured in the 2009 edition of “International Contemporary Masters.” She exhibits her works in the U.S. and internationally. Original paintings and limited edition giclee prints are available for sale.
Marcella Rose – MarcellaSilks – scarf donation https://www.facbook.com/marcellasilks/

The true joy in experimenting is not the success of said experiment, but the pathways of new expression that open up and the old axiom of one thing leading to another takes on new meaning…. That being said, when “what if I try…” turns into something unexpected and beautiful – YES! I began teaching myself how to work with this medium 20 years ago and it is still utterly beguiling to me. As I began exploring silk painting, I realized that the traditional Serti technique just didn’t work for me, so I began developing my own method of painting that has evolved over the years. I paint with Sennelier Tinfix dyes from France, they’re expensive, but the depth, brilliance and subtlety of the colors are (in my opinion) unrivaled. I work out of my little studio in Southern Oregon creating each piece with love.

(Natural History Watercolors by Debra Van Poolen and Natural History Under Siege) In 2013, Van Poolen made courtroom sketches each day of Chelsea Manning’s summer-long court martial in Ft. “From The Core“, the debut solo album from Jeff Pevar, recorded in the Oregon Caves National Monument, is now available here via Pet Peev Music!
The music on this album began as 12 improvisations recorded on acoustic guitar and mandocello for the PBS documentary “The Marble Halls Of Oregon”. After the National Park Service heard this music, they asked if Jeff would consider releasing it as an album of it’s own. Jeff then decided to take artistic license and bring the tracks recorded in the caves back to his home studio and overdub various instruments.
As the project evolved, he invited some very special guests to add their unique flavor to select pieces, including Jon Anderson, the voice of YES, who co-wrote lyrics and sings on the single, “River Of Dreams”.
Jeff had no idea when he was creating this music, what he would play or where the songs would end up harmonically, never mind it end up becoming his debut solo album, but it all comes “From The Core”!

Ben Rice https://www.benricelive.com/
His music is deeply rooted in traditional blues, yet at the same time fiercely original. His guitar playing earns labels like “fearless,” “inventive” and “powerful,” and he routinely brings audiences to their feet with his stunning and emotionally honest vocal delivery. Ben is as much home fronting his electric blues band as he is captivating a crowd solo with nothing but his voice and his resonator guitar.
